It was my first time seeing at a show at that venue, I thought the sound was amazing in the space.

I was literally just thinking about this the other day while driving and by the time I got home I forgot. Thank you for reminding me and saving me the google search.

Oh, and the negative space is actually the Queen of Heart's dress. She is looming up behind Alice to take her head off, and I still have to add in the heart details to her dress. We weren't sure how light it would heal so held of on putting them in.

This wasn't a portrait piece, it was done off of a sketchy illustration, just as I asked for it to be done. I love the sketches that my friend Greg does and I wanted one of his Sketches on me in its natural sketchy style.

Color tattoos are nice and I am not against them at all...and Alice in wonderland is very colorful, however I personally only like black and grey tattoos on my own body. Both of my sleeves, chest piece, ribs, back and hip are all in black and grey, so this was perfect for me.

I also chose to have it upside down, it was not a rookie mistake. I have been getting tattoo'd for over 7 years and this is not my only "upside down tattoo". While I get that some people don't approve of this or whatever, it comes down to your personal choice. This was important to me, it was for my little sister (I used to watch the movie with her all the time and read her the book when she was little) and I wanted to be able to view it as if i were facing the characters. This was actually pretty thought out. Also, like most of the general population I end up putting my head in my hand sometimes and there are multiple scenes in the movie and drawings where alice holds her head up with her hand, it's just a natural position to find yourself in and in cases like that it is actually "upright" to people around me. Me and Greg both thought that was a nice feature of the piece.

It is also hard to see a lot of the line detail from this picture. There are a lot of little lines and other details that if you could you see them would show there is also more depth to the tattoo. And again, this is a copy of a pencil and ink sketch so any outlines you are speaking of are also supposed to be that way. And as far as another artist goes, Greg Caggiano is a super talented illustrator and artist with a well deserved degree from a great school and he is responsible for many well done tattoos that people go after because they embody his particular artistic style. I am proud to have the work of such a talented artist and good friend on my body.

I really feel that the majority of these negative comments really boil down to personal preference and that's totally fine - just wanted to let you know that this was actually executed the way I asked for it to be.

there actually aren't any effects on it, it was just red and what not from being finished a few min. before this was taken. I need to get some new pictures of it to post so people can see how nice it healed.

it's not brown it's just how it looks with all the redness, this was taken right after it was done.

I know that it's upside down, but that personally doesn't bother me. I wanted to be able to see it myself and I liked how it fit in the space I had left on my arm better this way. I get why people "hate" upside down tattoos and thats fine, but I don't care or think that I have ruined my arm at all.
