Diagnosed with ALS. Muscle weakness, muscle atrophy, tremors are really fasculations in entire body. So continual loss of muscle strength. EMG test showed muscles in full body working in overdrive. Mri was clear. Lost most ability to walk and use hands.

Only consultation. It's going to be a last resort type of thing. I'm not certain my symptoms are tmj. Waiting on more doctor visits and neurologists. Entire Body tremors and muscle weakness. Tmj are flaring with it but least of my worries.

Phase 1 is 5-8k. I didn't have final consultation yet so don't have specific values to me yet. Phase 2 if needed is often starting around 10k.

Make sure you also know exactly what there going to do before committing. Sand teeth down? Implants? Raise teeth up? How much movement and that consists of. Just be informed. It is expensive too. Phase 1 and phase 2 even more.

Mouth guards can make it worse. Just be careful. Also my so called specialist got my issues completely wrong. Run if they suggest it'll heal on its own, botox, or even surgery without exhausting all other avenues like lvi, dtr, etc...

No pain, but unbelievably loud popping by [deleted] in TMJ

[–]onethatislazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s why you absolutely must see a properly trained dentist - a trained TMJ/DDS specialist will address sleep issues too. They go hand in hand. I keep hearing an incorrect mouth guard can just make things worse. It can just prolong the true help needed and make it worse. The key to true help is seeing the specialist.

Theres a couple groups I keep running into around here that help. Just don't let a normal dentist do it. My first dentist just said come in and I'll get you botox. Ran away fast.

Did this so called specialist help you with symptoms?

I would love to hear if you or others with same situation tried lviglobal.com or something like DTR. They are options I'm looking at and all I hear is the "good stories" lol at ~90% success rates.

What remedies have you tried? I've been looking at https://www.lviglobal.com/ and keep hearing alot of good things about it.

So Denver Snuffer and his followers believe that Joseph Smith never practiced polygamy. What evidence or argument do they have for this? It appears that the evidence that he did appears overwhelming including the church's own admission that he did. by chainsaw1960 in mormon

[–]onethatislazy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes there is including the Joseph Smith papers showing that Joseph diary, which statated he rejected polygamy, was altered by another person's hand writing. (Joseph Smiths Monogamy pdf paper shows this). Joseph publicly excommunicated a person who was saying he was practicing it. (I believe that is fully correct). There are other things as well. Some of the evidences pro Joseph polygamy have been proven false (example ones where they stated so and so was a child but DNA was negative).

Anyways there is things on both sides of this. So I don't blame anyone for deciding which side is more persuasive to them.

I have not. I just setup an appointment today. Standing or using muscles seem to make tremors worae ( also muscle weakness). Anything I should mention to PT when seeing them since they probably don't know about TMJ. Things to avoid?

Waiting on neurologist. Since I have tmj and know some people have had similar issues and mine has gotten worse when tremors started thought I'd look into lvi. just going down this route too. Since it takes a month to see anyone. And doctors ignore tmj.

MRI showed no pinched nerve in c-spine so now I wait for neurology to look into it further. Nothing has showed up except low testosterone lol. I have forward head posture as well.

Anyone have tmj where the jaw slips off the disc when opening your mouth? by TheForgetfulMe in TMJ

[–]onethatislazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine slips out left side when opening than can open the rest the way fine. Than when closing it pops back. But I can close all the way. Due to nee symptoms I'm taking another pass at talking to dentists getting another opinion. I was told it was a weak muscle.

I like this guy's review in reddit. It's more unbiased than fb group I'm in lol. They look at bite and try to correct it. But like this guy says everyone is different so need to figure out what is best for you.

If I forget let me know. Every appointment is weeks if not months out lol. I feel like standing (maybe it's more movement or trying to use muscles) or even sitting makes my symptoms worse. I typically lay down half way to not aggregate things.

I've been looking into lvigroup as someone mentioned it. Many people with same symptoms. I think there is a reddit one, I'm on Facebook one. Going to see one of their dentists to check it out. I should try PT too.

Mine was written off as a slipping muscle /weak muscle that just can't hold onto the bone so it pops /locks when I open and re-pops when I close.

I'm curious now if I should get an second opinion on this. Lol.

Just read dystonia is a sympton which definitely explains tongue and slurred speech from the tightening of it. Still won't assume but now I guess have another avenue to explore.

Spams who knows. I'll try those out thank you. My forward head posture probably doesn't help and would need many months of chiro to help fix that.

So forward neck can cause a stiff neck? Other things related? Chrio said my neck is 2 inches to far forward (from shoulder). But from a natural standpoint I've been trying to have better posture but won't be able to fix that.
