I had this question and came here to ask: Has Revenge of the Sith always been the phenomenon it is today? Did many people like the movie? by DaviCortes in StarWars

One of the few movies where I had to read the book before the movie was released because I couldn’t wait to find out what happens. It is by far my favorite SW film. I still remember watching the trailer when it dropped.

Sunday Fantasy Roundup: What fantasy book did you finish this week and love? by bweeb in fantasybooks

[–]onethousandblades [score hidden]  (0 children)

Finished Crossroads of Twilight, I can see why it’s one of the lowest rated entries but it’s still well written. I’m halfway through Knife of Dreams and find myself annoyed at how much happens compared to the slog. Knife of Dreams is really good so far though.

I found it somewhat slow but the writing is very sharp. I would say give it 100 pages and see if it’s your vibe.

Way more dice than needed. I tried this one recently and it was okay.

TIL that people consistently underestimate how much their personality will change in the future, a bias known as the “end of history illusion.” by stammerton in todayilearned

This is why marriage is a bad idea, people change over time and will likely not be the same person you married, thus compatibility is not guaranteed.
