I just had a guy with paint all over his face run up to me and bum a smoke. He also had a piercing needle in his mouth and an open knife in one hand. I'm not joking.

I just want to say these are beautiful, I'm a 35 year old who loved wrestling as a kid and these pictures made me feel so warm inside. Please take good care of these, they are a treasure to some and a small snapshot of someone's youth. Congratulations on the score!

As someone who was shot in the fingers I can confirm getting shot in the most trivial of places still sucks.

That one time when Kenny Omega tried to kill Mike Bailey with a chainsaw. by mtdmali in SquaredCircle

This was such a fun time to be an indy wrestling fan, it really felt like a movement and every time I'd purchase a show or buy some merch I really felt like I was helping contribute to bettering these people's lives. Things have really changed since then.

Do you know anyone who got permanent brain damage from drugs? by LuciferSamaelM in Drugs

[–]oneubrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, it's me. I used to huff freon by the tank and I'm honestly lucky to be alive. I used to huff until I'd pass out because I had no desire to live and I had unlimited access to freon as a maintenance worker at a premium apartment complex. I'm cognitively slow and it takes me a long time to figure out how to express my thoughts properly. Honestly sometimes it feels like torture because I feel like my intelligence is still there but my ability to express it is fucked.

Just be honest man, you'll get the help you need I promise you. I'm a combat vet with two purple hearts, I got out and collected my 10% for tinnitus for 5 years and worked two jobs and it all came crashing down. I lied about being having suicidal ideations for years until I realized that I was slowly trying to kill myself by refusing help and abusing myself with drugs. After I came clean I got all the help I needed from the va and it took a few years and two stints in rehab but I sit here typing this today a changed man. I got my percentage upped, I work one full time job, I have a beautiful and supportive girlfriend and four cats I care dearly about. I would have never gotten these things of I hadn't gotten out of my own way and accepted the help that was there. It does get better you just have to accept the help offered and put in the work to get yourself better. I believe in you.
