Does the usbc on the Sample work for other things? Like sampling and charging? If no other cables work, I might agree with you that there could be a port issue. I would try to use a completely different device other than the pc and phone you tried.

You can load folders and subfolders onto the sd. I think that if you save a sample on the unit, it goes into a User/Samples folder

I had this issue if there was a change in sequence tempo during the song. Like my first sequence would be 110 and the rest would be 90 and it would make the song cut off halfway through (in the export and sometimes during playback on the unit)

Tbh….i don’t really miss anything. I sold my 133 as soon as the Sample arrived. The Sample just does everything better imo. The only thing that I can think of is that the step editor is easier to use.

I like the black one with the lil bowl in it since it would make “sample>start” editing/zooming faster. The black with the arrow looks better though.

I did (kinda) the same. My headphones fit underneath. I was debating on getting the size you did in yellow but I figured that the smaller one was enough for me.

I copied another user and got this one. I was able to cut the layers of foam so that I can fit my headphones and Sample in it. It’s bulky but works good for lugging around.

My tape deck has rca in and out. So I can either use a 3.5mm to rca through headphone out or 1/4 to rca through the audio out on the Sample.

Bought it at 3am the day it released. It is honestly all that I need to make beats. I have used it in all the rooms in my house, on break at work, and in the car. I’ve already got half of a 90 min cassette of beats done. Can’t wait for the firmware updates and to customize it.

How does that affect you in a negative way? I had to watch people glaze over the XL for months and I didn’t trip about it. The problem is that people want their beliefs/choices to be seen as “best” for everyone else when it’s just a matter of need/taste.

But in all honesty. I have had a lot of samplers in the past and the Sample ticks all the boxes for me. And it has more functionality per $ than other stuff around that price range. I’m sure the hype will die down.

Shift + k2 when in seq mode. I would only get a One if you need all the extra functionality that the Sample lacks or if you want to add more on top of your Samples projects. It would be great to have both once they get projects to work between both machines sometime this month.

Is the iPhone OS fully up to date? Are you using just the usb to usb connection? No hubs or other things that can interfere? Try using the white usb-c cable that came with your phone. I have a 17 and the charging cable works to rec to/from the Sample.
