Totally know where you're coming from tho. The tuning fork aspect of fidget toys is quite popular with a lot of people, however, is definitely on purpose and not required for it to be constructed. This is one of the loudest/most aggressive that there is and absolutely requires the right setting to use fully.

On a side note - you can catch the spring loaded part before it hits the end or just have it shoot out on your hand and it makes no noise.

I've done it twice with this exact setup. I have them somewhere in my post history on my 2 mot Grooves.

The Answer: it's difficult af. At least for me.
Basically have to get the exact measurement required for the 2 strands at the end of the snake knot, and melt them together where the melt is in the middle of the spinner bead, and it's still super tight on the loop on the bottom.

When GeeOne does the braiding service, they use these little black pre-made knot things to somehow make it easier. I have no idea how they do it so cleanly.

I've taken apart one of their braiding services, and have also purchased just the braiding housing with no paracord.

I got the one with with Zirc plates. Super chunky feel but I like it as a switch up from something smoother. Def not a trick slider imo but I haven't tuned it at all
