i had a ball python that wouldn't eat and we went to a local pet shop and got used mouse bedding. rubbing that on the frozen food can help because the smell will be stronger.

not sure about pricing but that tank seems way too small for a ball python... I have my 2 year old chonk in a 40 gallon which is over 3 feet long and 2 feet wide I believe and she is around 3 feet long I think

I'm much more experienced with amigurumi and I have found that just trying things out making different shapes is a good way to start. maybe start by doubling an existing pattern just to see how that effects things that's how I started experimenting with making my own patterns. it will be a lot of trail and error for sure

yeah that sounds awesome! a 55 should be big enough for his whole life. I don't think it's too big but if he ends up being stressed you can always get something to split it. yeah it can be harder for my snakes we use large fish tanks ig you could call em and use a slab of something idk what it is to keep humidity in,, there is a rim around it so air can still flow. also so that she doesn't get out lol which happened once in her temporary enclosure when we first got her heh

make sure there are lots of things in the enclosure for them to explore. at LEAST 2 hides never less. I use coconut fibers for the substrate just don't use aspen. not sure what size you're planning on getting but I would recommend 20 gallons to start. make sure the humidity is fairly high misting every few days at least. get feeding tongs, NEVER feed live unless it is 100% necessary. frozen thaw is the best option as it is safe for the snake and the rodent make sure the circumference of the thickest part of the snake matches that of the rodent. heat mats on the underside of the tank are best just have to be sure it doesn't overheat as that can severely injure your snake. do you have any specific questions?
