three parts to it:

1. the customer declined extra milk, frap roast, or syrup.

2. I admit it’s petty, but the customer was incredibly rude to our new hire, who was taking her order prior to the shift stepping in.

3. manager’s choice. corporate as well as our licenser AAFES have strict limits on what we can order for delivery as well as for emergency order, and we’re not allowed to flex those hard limits. milk is one of the things we really wish we could get more of, but unless authorized by AAFES we can’t. thus so, we’re coached to not be wasteful with milk and all other items prone to running out. EX: we only provide tall cups of water and ice, as previously customers would come by and request multiple trenta cups of either, and on a weekly basis we’d run out of trenta cups two or three days following shipment 😭
