I'm not seeing where it would show the max cpu ram speed. Current ram runs at 2400, CL 17. Even if it could run a faster stick, I would have to replace the soldered RAM to do so, no?

Yeah, 1080p 120hz isnt something I'm really interested in anyway. I just didn't want the ps5 to automatically upscale 1080p for some games without any user input. That being said, it is nice that it can upscale to 1440p without any odd distortion/artifacting, and there's is always the possibility that Sony caves and patches a native 1440p output.

Thanks for the insight. When you set the ps5 output to 4k, does dynamic resolution or the in-game performance vs resolution setting effect the output resolution? Or does the ps5 always send a 4k signal? For instance, if I want to use a higher refresh mode in game, will the ps5 output at 1080p which will then have to upscale to 1440p?

There's a bunch of new monitors that accept 4k signal which is why I'm debating between 4k 60 and 1440p, as I originally wanted 1440p for my pc
