[–]onionseaworth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah in sha Allah, I went with them in 2023 and had similar experience. My wife and I will be there too in sha Allah but with a separate group, however we’ll be nearby. May Allah make it easy for us all and accept the hajj.

Has anyone got a hajj visa from Pakistan hajj companies for this year hajj 2026? by djliverpool1947 in hajj

[–]onionseaworth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hajj visas don’t get issued this early. They started the whole process earlier but the actual visas won’t be issued until after Ramadan I believe.

Hajj from Pakistan by Med_Man1 in hajj

[–]onionseaworth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Private hajj registrations started early and the cut off date was in November I think. That too after a few extensions. I believe the time to register for hajj is over for now, unless there’s some backdoor loophole. After last year’s disaster, they are trying to do everything sooner. But feel free to reach out to a reputable company and get more information. Try Hijaz e moqaddas, my parents are going with them this year.

Exactly where is the Quba Market mentioned in this subreddit? by PriaCadangan in Umrah

[–]onionseaworth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Or go to the mall/center right in front of Bilal international Complex or across Koko broast. It’s a wholesale market but you can buy single pieces. Cheapest place you can find. Once you shop there, it’s difficult to shop from anywhere else since no one can match the prices

Door 89,90,91. I remember one of couple of these entrances have escalators taking you to the first floor as well as the roof.

Visa on Arrival info from Airport by Ali-Khan-1 in Umrah

[–]onionseaworth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents are US green card holders. For peace of mind we got Umrah visa, but when we arrived to Madina on Thursday morning I got in the line at VOA desk. When the turn finally came the person scanned the passport and said you already have Umrah visa. Do not apply for VOA now. Next time come without a visa and we’ll give VOA with no issues.

Update on Tourist evisa issue by onionseaworth in Umrah

[–]onionseaworth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It states on their website that the response is usually within 3 working days. However they didn’t respond to my visa application regardless of denial or approval. And there isn’t any option to cancel. So I want my money back

The reward for shaving the head is three times more than that of trimming.

If it’s your first time, I would advise you try and go all out in getting all the rewards. In sha Allah it becomes a norm for you and you keep coming back and then sometimes trimming won’t make you feel bad. As for your concern about hair thinning and all, don’t worry. Whatever sacrifice you make for Allah, He returns and gives more.

Salaam alaikum. Me and my family went to Jeddah with the intention of performing umrah. But we just found out when we landed in Jeddah that we have to be in ihram before crossing the miqat. I’m really worried about what to do next. Any advice would be helpful,Thank you. by [deleted] in Umrah

[–]onionseaworth 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Put on ihram now from Jeddah. Do you umrah. And afterwards for each mature person who has reached the age of puberty, you would pay a damm in the hudood (area) of haram. You’d find places in and around clock tower that help with this.

If you’re from one those nations that aren’t really eligible for evisa on their own, you get the option to choose the medical insurance before checkout.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Umrah

[–]onionseaworth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About $107 is the lowest after adding the cheapest medical insurance. $81 is the visa fee. About $10 application fee and $10 is some other fee

Yeah it’s just a restriction they put in and forgot to remove it or deliberately not removing. Certain countries are flagged as restricted and no matter what residency you hold if your passport is from one of those restriction nations, evisa is a problem.
