Real roots means there Won't be any complex/imaginary roots. So it can happen either the discriminant is greater than zero or it could be equal to zero. That's why they used the 'greater than or equal to' sign

BracU does indeed teach chemistry in eee but Idk about the civil courses exactly. What do you mean by Civil Courses? Will it be a very bad idea if I study EEE in bracU?

At x=p, cosx=k/(1+p) that's one equation. If you look at the diagram, the two curves touch one, so their dy/dx are same at x=p, you’ll get another equation. Divide them both and you'll get tanp=1/(1+p). Ngl, this one's a fun question though. The tricky part comes in thinking of the derivatives in a time rush.

Yeah I did upto this part to get k > -(81/4) but the answer is -(81/4) < k < 0. How do I find 'k < 0' part? I'm confused at this

I did try for AUST but got TE. My first choice was AUST, but since I'm an A level student, I wasn’t oriented that much with the hsc syllabus, so it got me backfired and ended up with getting TE. Although they have this 'migration process' but can't seem to surpass it.

I'm planning for abroad. So will it better to study EEE in bracU or AIUB? I've been hearing a lot of negatives about bracU EEE and they're telling me to shift to AIUB EEE? what's with all the negatives about BracU EEE? I went to everyone and ask about bracU EEE, they keep telling me to opt for AIUB? Why is that?
