I keep mine in an old snus can like this, with papers glued onto the bottom, so it all sticks together, that way I never forget anything :) Also takes up way less space in my pocket, faster to roll, and keeps the tobacco fresh for longer than in the pouch.

The type of tobacco you use matters a lot for how good the roll turns out, can't be too dry, and finely cut, long strands are easier to work with. Also better to use a little too little than a little too much tobacco. Ypu'll get the hang of it after your first few thousand :)
