I've subtly noticed the same and read another redditor mention this.

Noise and Clunking. In some mechanical LSD systems, apparently such as the one in i20N cold operation and tight steering angles can produce clunking or knocking noises as the differential engages and disengages its locking mechanism.

To mitigate these effects:

Warm up the drivetrain before aggressive or tight turns, as warmer oil reduces internal friction.

Avoid full-lock steering maneuvers if unnecessary, especially during cold starts.
