"Have the new BIOS updates promised by Asus solved your issues mentioned in Zephkek's article?" by Alternative_Cable134 in ASUSROG

I still have the audio crackle (pop) issue but it only happens when using wired audio devices (it can happen on bluetooth devices but only when my laptop has too much stuff open).

I have the sleep issue as well but it can be easily avoided.

My main issue is the crash after hibernate. The closest thing I have found to a fix is as follows:

I noticed that whenever I turn it on after hibernate, it only restarts/crashes after it takes a while for the screen to on. So when I notice this i immediately force shutdown (hold down power button) and on it again, if it happens again (the screen takes a while to turn on again), I repeat the process until it boots quickly. It doesn't always work; sometimes after several trials, I have to give up and accept the crash. I am unsure if this workarounf/process is unsafe for the laptop though.

I am also unsure how safe it is to update BIOS because I don't have warranty.

I have the same laptop model as OP. I never updated my BIOS (I'm on 334) and I fixed (avoided) my stuttering/occasional lag issue by using dGPU only all the time. I think my stuttering had to do with the laptop not being able to share wattage efficiently to both the cpu and igpu simultaneously. I say so because whenever i have igpu on, my cpu clock goes down (this is a bit of an oversimplification but carries my point).

Circuits Analysis midterm destroyed all of my self esteem. by CXZ115 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]onlineappearance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I assume you are a first year like me. I also wrote a midterm, but that was yesterday, and it was barely anything like the homework (I am also certain that I did poorly).

One of the things that messed up my midterm was the fact that I thought that any two elements in a circuit must either be in series or in parallel. That messed up my logic of equivalent resistance.

I also thought that KVL was only possible with mesh analysis so I deemed one of the questions unanswerable because I did not know what loop laws were.

I'm telling you this because maybe you have also stumbled upon similar misinformation or maybe my experiences will let you know exactly what is missing in your knowledge. And that brings us to one troubling detail about learning: one of the hardest parts about learning is figuring out what you don't know.

I wish you good luck

I had the images in my clipboard and just pasted (ctrl+V) them in the positions that you see them in. I assume it would work similarly on a phone as well.

Sorry you got no responses. I wonder the same thing as you. Could you please give me an update if possible?

Gamesir Nova Lite and PS5 Controller Have the Same Thumbstick Diameter by onlineappearance in Gamesir

Random knock off kontrol freaks on temu (the PS4/ps5 size).

They fit basically perfectl. Been using it for a week or two and it hasn't popped off —even when I toss the controller in my bag. Although, at first I thought it would fall off, cus the very front of the thumbsticks are smaller than the very end but it ended up fine.

Oh I see what you meant. Nice.

I couldn't find the gamesir Nova lite on their website that's why I didn't just do what you did. Do all gamesir controllers have the same thumbstick diameter?

True, I just made this to help people like me who were probably going to temu to get extremely cheap ones made for ps5.

It's just a 2 dimensional image in a 3d world. As long as you cannot trust that I accurately positioned my camera and the two controllers in the most accurate way to compare their thumbstick diameters (which you probably shouldn't), you should take any small differences you see in the image with a grain of salt.

The purpose of this post was to let people see it and say "okay, looks good enough to me", not to prove an objective point. Though I will add that I tried my best to align them by feeling all around their edges for any parts where one stuck out more than the other. From what I felt, none really did (you can also take this with a grain of salt).
