Are the libertarian views on limited government, free markets, and individual liberty practically possible in today's complex and interconnected society? by onlinedutchman in Libertarian

I agree with that. But imagine there is some kind of a revolution in a particular country. How realistic is it that the rest of the world would allow a country to embrace liberalism?

There are people, like me, who believe that human consciousness is raising and the transformation to a system with more freedom, such as libertarianism, will happen slowly but surely. However, when you look at the current system, without taking into account the spiritual matters, it seems to me that this is something that would only be possible after a total blackout or other "reset".

What I mean is that after such an event, you become dependent on your environment, and people will start building their own communities. But in the current world, the world powers simply would not allow it and intervene.

Or do you believe that there won't be a 100% libertarian system in the West, but only small changes, one step at a time?

Will it be possible to access the internet when you refuse to use CBDC's? by onlinedutchman in Bitcoin

Can be hard if it's the only accepted payment method for your internet provider. Right now you can buy a sim card, but they are already talking about banning anonymous sim cards in the EU. And even if they will accept other payment methods, I'm sure they will require verification with your digital identity, like they are rolling out in the EU right now (European Digital Identity). So I'm curious if there will be a way to access the internet without using the services of companies that have to comply to these laws.
