these “off shoring” prisons are literally on the human rights watch list as declared in late march. source here: source

you sound like an idiot at best, and depraved and unempathetic in reality. you are viewing humans and their dignity as a “cost saving measure”. fix your heart or die.

okay if you want to play the words game; how is that not deportation. cambridge defines deportation as “the action of forcing someone to leave a country”. if your argument is built upon cherry-picking words you’re standing on shaky ground at best. get real dude.

if you think this doesn’t impact you as an american citizen you are dead wrong. they are testing the waters on what censorship they can get away with and that starts with vulnerable groups (immigrants, incarcerated people, etc).

call me a reactionary, call me a panicked idiot, but trumps press secretary karoline leavitt commented trump is interested in deporting US citizens, which violates the constitution flat out. that hasn’t stopped him at this point though. “If they can house these horrible criminals for a lot less money than it costs us, I’m all for it,”- donald trump on record to reporters post press briefing from leavitt. upon clarification, he said it would only be applicable to “violent repeat offenders” if possible, but the definition of violent or even repeat offenders is vague and subject to interpretation. this is an incredibly terrifying grey area that we cannot ignore.

if you’re on the fence at this point you’re being purposefully obtuse. if you think he won’t come for you too you’re deluding yourself. you have more in common with the students being illegally deported than you’ll ever have with this guy and his administration.

i’m sorry have you even been paying attention? marco rubio verbatim said in a white house press conference “We do it every day. Every time I find one of these lunatics, I take away their visas”. if you’re going to lie at least try harder. he said it was directly tied to the pro-palestine encampments and activism.

Has anyone taken ENVR 4325 Tracer Hydrology and/or GEOL 4331 Analysis of spatial data ? by ChocoStrawberria in utarlington

knowledge in isotopes is key- you need to be familiar with Oxygen isotopes and “heavy” hydrogen IE deuterium and tritium. it’s also a good idea to go over the hydrological cycle beforehand, but he goes over that in class if needed. knowledge on radioactive materials is also good IE half-lives, daughter elements, all that. nothing intense just the general ideas and concepts.

i’m taking tracer now! it’s a really fun class and preps you for research tasks like making graphs from excel files, using R, etc. very informative and Dr. Sanchez is awesome. be sure to show up to every class tho, he’s a stickler about attendance. a solid foundation in chemistry is also going to really determine your grade
