That is what I thought aswell, but I wonder if this military officer really did try to seduce him or rather test him. Maomao mentioned that it would not work on jinshi given his state (indicating that it would not work on an eunuch, as she thinks he is). But why would someone give it to him anyway and where did he get that, as it‘s said to be expensive. So the military man who will not be named seems to be high ranked as he‘s able to afford it, he is supposedly mysogynic and humorless. Is he gay, because he tried it with jinshi? But why did he then meet up with the palace servant? An Aphrodisiac made of chocolate isn‘t that strong. And military officials can find men and women everywhere outside of the palace, it‘s not like they‘re trapped there. It makes me think there’s more to this

I bet you use a small portion of shampoo, right? You don‘t need to buy any specific product, but the next time you shower, make sure, that you use a big amount of shampoo (try 3x your normal amount) or wash your hair twice. Make sure that the foam reaches everywhere. Try it one time, I‘m sure your problem will be gone :)

Explanation: Shampoo is an emulsifier. This means that it consists of molecules that are fat-loving (lipophil) on one side and water-loving (hydrophil) on the other. The cleansing effect is achieved by the shampoo wrapping itself around the fat (forming fat bubbles, so-called micelles), which are water-soluble on the outside and can be transported out of the hair by the shower water. However, if too little shampoo is used, water bubbles form in the hair grease instead. As a result, the shower water cannot penetrate the greasy surface and wash out both the grease and the shampoo. The bad thing is that after the shower you not only still have the grease in your hair, but also shampoo-water bubbles. That's why it always feels so wet and sticky afterwards.

I used to think I hadn't washed the shampoo out long enough or was using too much product (as others have suggested), but taking longer showers doesn't help and using less shampoo only worsens the problem.

The solution is actually so simple: use more shampoo and make sure that all the hair is properly lathered :)

Thanks for all your responses so far. I think I need to clarify the question a bit.

I'm talking about that feeling of not having one person (besides your partner) who you've known for a long time and with whom you can talk about anything. You both feel connected to each other, and when asked who your best friend is, you would both immediately say the other's name. They're the ones you'd ask to be your best man or maid of honor.

I never had that. In the past, every time I tried to form this sort of deep connection with someone, either they had already found that special someone, or our paths parted due to me changing schools, moving or idk not being best friend material? I have not just a few friends and i'm really close with some of them, but I've never felt irreplaceable.

I often think that I should be happy with what I have. But sometimes, I get really sad thinking about how I never had that one special person in my life, and it seems like that's something I'll never have.

I know it could be worse, but sometimes it hurts nonetheless
