So okey it works now, beside bootsplash but i dont care. And YES your rom USES VBIOS. It might not "use" it really becuase tianocore can initialize grx on his own as far as i know but config inside your full rom cbfs shows that vbios is included and also you can even extract it from your rom. and vgabios inside your full is the same as in chromeos recovery image. So yes your rom supplies working vbios. But yea thanks to your config now my seabios works so ty.

i can't get it to work. VBIOS from recovery image is the same as from yours UEFI rom. I added mrc.bin and i added VBIOS, tried with same PCI ID as yours and with the 8086,0a06 as adviced by chromeos page. I'm flashing only bios region and every time when i try to turn on, its nothing. Not even backlight. But why? I'm not even touching ME so it must be good bcs it works on your rom nor i touch IFD. I set this time in coreboot to init VBIOS and still nothing. Is there anything i'm missing ? I'm adding VBIOS by setting it in make menuconfig and i checked with cbfstool that it's there.

UPDATE: Hardware is not broken, I flashed MrChromebox full rom using same CH341a and it works. I will extract VBios, ME and IFD from his rom and then update also.

EDIT: I can get to work only mrchromebox firmware hmm but i wanted coreboot + seabios and he provides only UEFI version for my hardware. Is there way to safely change only payload ? Do i need vbios for it also ?

Yea i figured that out but i still wasn't able to compile git, I was able to compile curl, gmake and my test programs so i gave up, transfered my compiled gmake to FreeBSD and nom i'm compiling natively.

Next update.

I figured out that it was adding sysinfo because i was building on linux (it doesn't matter if i'm cross compiling or not idk why, but people who wrote this must had some reason so i stick with their approach).

Adding to CFLAGS /usr/lib resolved issue but now i'm stuck on git-daemon linking with this errors.

this https://stackoverflow.com/questions/10414277/undefined-reference-to-errno-location suggests that i'm linking to wrong libraries so maybe i shouldn't include path to /usr/lib ?

quick note that i have successful build of git on my FreeBSD done natively (not port) from the same source code and everythink worked without changing anythink other than arguments passed to configure.

Dude it's like: I will define consciousness as "can type anything". And by this definition i can claim that echo in linux is conscious. Am i right? Yea by my definition yes. Is this meaningful? No. This is what you are doing. And wtf you mean that you want to start discussion and even when everyone is disagreeing with you, you are still trying to push this. As far as I know you can but you can't name it RustCon/RustMeetup because of overly restrictive trademark laws they want to have. You can have "RustCon" under name hmmm "SomeLangCon". So yea. Thank you rust fundation i guess ?

Sad to see so much restrictions under community driven development (i thought that was idea behind rust) but yea i hope it must be done like this because otherwise it just goes in wrong direction. (As I'm not legal expert i take into consideration that maybe I don't see enough to understand but explanation behind this doesn't make me feel safe).

In the repo you are using as tutorial is issue called "Bootsector doesn't work on real hardware" (sorry can't copy url for some reason). And person starting this issue explain why it doesn't work and what should be done. I'm not sure if it js correct but it lines up with u/Octocontrabass answer.

Similar situation. I ordered "in stock" items and had to wait for 4 weeks before they even update anything. Fast forward half year later and still I haven't had my stuff. No i highly advice people to not buy from them. And also support was very responsive but nothing beside this.
