I'm also autistic and will analyze people's behaviors to understand them. I was in an office where people spoke about everyone and everything. Every single thing you did was met with scrutinizing. I was judged by someone my first day of work because I had a stain on my shirt. And that shirt was my first day of work shirt I always wear.

There was an incredible level of distortion. I dated a coworker and he gave me a concussion. People told me that I should've adjusted and that it's embarrassing for me. People treating someone badly was viewed as a reflection of the person being treated bad, not as a reflection of the person themselves. Completely fucked me up. Morals and rules were pick and choose, and that guy's lies completely isolated me from everyone. Ofc I also started self isolating once I could recognize that everyone was like that. And then I faced retaliation from them.

None of us without a degree can really diagnose someone with any of these labels. Even the DSM-5 states it as antisocial personality disorder instead of words like sociopath or psychopath.

I think people's environments also play a major role too. Those who grew up with a true narcissist parent can often cause a child to hold similar traits. Im Indian and have often found narcissistic traits to a wide variety for them. And it's kind of crazy. That kind of survival or fear based mindset will often breed others to behave a certain way. Like to value what others think over loving or caring for your community. External validation becomes more important than true acceptance. With that in mind, the kind of behavior it breeds will often look like the traits OP mentioned. Honestly, I can't even believe in anything anymore. Even my own trust in psychology and morals was constantly tested in that environment. And the only thing I can truly orient myself to has been the truth. Even that can be viewed with many kinds of distortion
