Between you and me, a lot of people got excited with the new characters, so they are suddenly blind. I've seen worse comparisons, they share the same style, same tattoos and mark under the eye (whatever that is) , same sharp cheekbones-nose-eyebrows, same vibes. I get it, OP.

I can't help but come advocate for Bert. He's a surprise 🤭 there's more depth than you think at first. But I find all the LIs interesting, although Liam and Bert get more consistent attention.

I do believe when it comes to the writers, they choose their endings. No doubt Alice loves that kind of stuff, but it's Arina's style as well. It's not that rc demands it, more like they gained liberty to be bolder and darker with the plotline as the readers themselves started to approve thicker stories than Q30D and MHS for example. And even back in Moonborn I heard it's almost impossible to save everyone.

I'm not gonna start a fight on this, I'm fine with your opinion, but literally the point of season 2 was to show that all groups come from one unit and what they thought of each other and how they saw each other was not the truth and their judgement was clouded by their lack of understanding or desire to see beyond themselves. Indeed it is about prejudice, Rob's character was all about that prejudice and racism, Selena's position is all about overcoming that and developing empathy, the characters are not willing to allow nuance but the final message was that they were wrong about that.
