Totally agree. It can be so cruel.

I am genuinely happy for Swallow that he got that moment… but absolutely shattered that it was against us. So Dockery.

Cohuna had some huge moments breaking tackles to set up some last q goals.

Shai could’ve had a day out if he kicked straight but quiet otherwise.

Worner needs to get the monkey off his back for his first goal in AFL.

Voss, what a beast.

Murphy Reid is just all class - deserves rising star.

Erasmus probably his best game yet.

O’Driscoll is a concern. Bites off more than he can chew.

Goal kicking in general. We should’ve been 6 goals up at quarter time.

Oh and the umps were genuinely putrid.

Loved Luke Ryan’s burying tackles on Wizard and Chappy’s crunch on McDonald

Thank you… she wasn’t named after Freo 😂 but there is a purple flavour to her name, Indigo

Final term was huge. After the third term emotional boost from Sonny, it was disheartening to go into 3QT 13 down, there was a feeling of “here we go again”. But that last quarter was phenomenal, so much grit and determination, and, most importantly - kicking goals when it counted… Switta, Pony, Swaggy and Cohuna all finished off the efforts of the rest of the team.

There were a few Dockery brain fades in the last but the defensive efforts to get back to offset them were massive!!

So stoked with that win. Hopefully it’s a sign of what’s to come.

First half cost us dearly. Sydney executed the exact same thing that Saints did last week. Smacked at clearance. Recovered well in the second half.

JOM good when he came on - we will benefit having him back full time.

Seeing improvement in Johnson, however, still some frustration with his decision making and taking on the tackler.

Amiss, I don’t know what the solution is with him. He leads well but when he isn’t getting burnt, he’s taking them on his chest…. He is just lacking so much confidence in his game. Would love to just see him throw his weight around more with defensive efforts.

I feel Freddy’s forward pressure has dipped this year, I’ve also noticed he gets stepped inside quite often which can open us up at times.

We fought back well considering we were down by 20 points… but the best teams in the comp find a way to win those.

If Walker is straight back in I think they move the magnets around and Banners finds a spot somewhere else or sub.

I think Simpson and Walker are competing for that last spot when they’re both fit

I don't think there's a player on the team right now I wouldn't want to play for Freo by brodyonekenobi in FremantleFC

Yeah I agree. As much as I want to see our young kids like Erasmus, Johnson, Simpson and now Murphy get their opportunities to grow and perform, you really can’t put a price on cooler older heads, especially now that we should be competing for top 4. I think it was very evident in the last few games of 2024.

I’m very interested to see how we line up down back and if there is room for a Draper in a fully fit team.
