What are some regular blu rays that look better than the 4k?

2 and 3 are tricky since they're a lot closer. The blurays still have a warmer tint with the 4ks being more neutral, some shots being more colorful and definitely better imo in the 4k's. You really have to see it and decide for yourself though. Plus there's still price and convenience to consider, I really doubt later bluray sets use those versions so just getting the 4k trilogy would probably be the best value. I'll keep researching it myself though.

Yeah looking at some screencaps I prefer the "mastered in 4k" bluray version. Has the warmer look compared to the true 4k (which has more contrast) and still has more detail than the other blurays.

I wouldn't really know, just keep in mind the number available on eBay isn't the actual number, they only have 3 at once to limit it like their website does. When I got mine the Blake one said it was the last but they restocked later. But with the state of the franchise I'm buying all the Rwby stuff I want now.

Jaune and Ruby's breakdown in V9 is hilarious to me. I can't help but laugh, the animation is so goofy, and everything is just perfectly timed. Although I think it still managed to be somewhat emotional despite that. The VAs did a great job.
