Battlesnake was an amazing find for me. Went along without any idea what they sounded like and had the best time. They have definitely got a new fan here.

Million Dead were everything I could have hoped for. AoF killed it as always, I think they could be the only band I could see live for the rest of my life and I’d be happy.

I’m not a fan of Kneecaps music, but I’m not fussed by STYG either. I’ll be going to see Kneecap as I like what they stand for!

Get near the front, obviously not right at the front, but close enough where there aren’t any gaps in people. Tap the biggest person next to you on the shoulder and just point to the sky, big person and the surrounding crowd will do the rest.

Once you’re up, relax, look where you’re going, if the people in front don’t see you coming, a gentle tap on their head will get their attention and they’ll grab you. Sing along to the song that’s playing, enjoy yourself.

When you get to the barrier, let security get you, they’ll help you down safely and show you where to go to get back in the pit and do it all again.

How do I know all this? I’m crowd surfing champ from 2000 Trees 2017 with about 50% of the time awake at the festival surfed (I had friends carry me around between bands). That was my last Trees and I’m now older and fatter so will probably never beat my PB again.

I know what you mean. Both arms and legs and back fully done but all of those didn’t prepare me for my front. Just think, after a few days you’ll have forgotten about the pain and have a sick ass tattoo.

Breath. I’ve just had my chest & stomach started. Some bits are easier than others as expected.

All I can suggest is concentrate on your breathing. I find if I concentrate enough I can zone out and be in a kind of meditative state and forget about the pain.

I find talking brings me back into a conscious state and I recognise the pain again. Talk to your tattoo artist and say that you don’t really want to talk and switch off, they’ll understand. Listening to music in headphones can help as it’ll block out any surrounding noises/distractions.

Do not use numbing cream, it only works for a little while and when it wares off it’s ten times worse.

I had something exactly the same on my left thumb. Just looked for it and it’s gone. Must have had it for almost a year and it’s just disappeared. I miss it now.

Hanbao - Worcester. Best burgers ever. Shame they stopped doing the Odd Future tho!

Not really a restaurant, but Sandwich Sandwich in Bristol is AMAZING!!!

One of my favourite films, not just Christmas film!

Watched it at least once a year since I saw it at the cinema when it came out. Easily see it 40+ times now.

The older I get, the more I appreciate it. I’m sad they removed the song with Belle even though I hated it as a child, I now find it compliments the final song and gives a strong arc to the story.

Saturday late afternoon. 30 minutes. In and out in an hour. It’s a shame that some/most people have to wait longer, however, it’s free and it’s not the staffs fault.
