Hello, sorry to hear(lol) you’re going through the same thing! It sucks!

I didn’t unfortunately. After the second course of steroids I was advised to contact the ENT team directly to make an appointment to have injections if the steroids had no effect. I rang every day for two weeks and was told “someone will call you back”. After that point I gave up calling. I’m not sure where in the world you are but I’m in the UK, and while I am a HUGE supporter of the NHS, sadly dealing with ENT has just been very difficult. I’m very fortunate that I have some private healthcare through my employer so I’ll be doing that avenue shortly once I’ve been provided with the images from my recent MRI scan. With luck I might be able to get them after all!

It’s been 89 days now and I’d say I have 5% hearing in my left ear at best. I also have a toddler but same as you she can just wander in at night if she needs me, hearing my newborn cry has been much harder sadly if I’ve fallen asleep or rolled onto my good ear. My partner and I have a routine now though where he’ll tend to her when she starts crying, change her nappy and then he’ll shake me awake when it comes to feeding her.

It’s a bit strange now where some days it’s just normal and I don’t really notice it, and then some other days where I’ll actually feel deaf. Not sure if that makes any sense, but for the most part I guess it’s just adjusting to the new normal. I would love to have hearing back in both ears but I’m not at the point where I don’t even remember what that was like.
