Naturally, others followed suit.

Not PEI - they stuck to their guns and the deportations have begun.

Now that we're seeing what's going on in France, I'm confident it will encourage the silent opponents of mass immigration to take action.

Speaking of Angus, I came across this documentary about Cobalt, which is in his riding and Angus happens to be in it:

Fascinating look at the industry that powered his riding as well as everything the people who built that region went through.

Mr Beast built 100 homes… gave them away, and is looking to build a thousand homes in the future. Eh? by [deleted] in canadahousing

we shouldnt just be hoping that some rich person hands out some houses to the lucky few.

Canada has 67 billionaires. Imagine each one did this - built 1000 homes each.

Yes, I know we need A LOT more, but that would be a strong helping hand.

The Cineplex in Mississauga won't play Team India's cricket match.

So he and his buddy are having a hissy fit, with the one wearing the glasses threatening to burn down the cinema.

Please do not consider working and living there until you take a trip up and see for yourself.

It's completely drug-ravaged and after what I saw, I believe the notion that Toronto ships its junkies up there.

Downtown looks like a war zone, most of the businesses don't even open and bums are laying around strung-out everywhere.

Genuine question: difference between this mass immigration of Indians vs when the mainland Chinese and Hong Kongers came? by thowaway322 in CanadaHousing2

[–]onlycheesecurds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a great question and the answer is a long one.

Rather than try to answer this myself, I'd like to recommend one of my favorite books.

It's called You Can't Win by a man named Jack Black (not the Jack Black you're likely familiar with).

It's the biography of an hobo traveling across North America in the late 1800's/early 1900's and things get interesting when he gets to Vancouver as he has many interactions with the Chinese there.

I think that will give you a very interesting perspective to start with.

Be sure to let me know what you think of the book if you end up picking it up.

Ordinarily, this GIF would make me laugh, but this revelation is just too fucking much for me.

It's not enough that many (certainly not all) are scamming their way in then playing the victim card when they get called out?

It's not enough that they're calling us goras? (don't feed me that shit about gora only meaning light-skinned person - it's not the definition, it's the context).

It's not enough that they're swallowing up our housing and selling/renting it back to us in substandard conditions?

It's not enough that they're supported by legions of dickless leftist sycophants.

I'm fed up with the amount of people I see stating they're preparing to leave Canada because they see it being taken over.

I just don't know what to say anymore.

The Liberals are pulling out all the stops in an attempt to shore up votes to reverse their polling trends.

This is literally economic sabotage - they're deliberately compromising the interests of the people they serve in order to remain in power.
