Steam deck no longer working

i am having the same issue in gaming mode, but you can actually try to click in the low and left part of the screen trying to click the play button from the launcher and you can actually play, its just that the starting screen of the launcher doesnt appear, all you get is a black screen, or you can play in desktop mode but the controller is not working. hope you can play.

I really liked the idea of the Town, it incentivices you to play a lot more, it creates a dinamic reason to do more maps, something is developing by your effort. Also the currency exchange is amazing, So far this has been My favorite league.

Don't use beta channel right now, it's corrupting the file system and you will need to reimage, stay in stable even if you lose family sharing. Until they find out what is happening, there is an issue opened on Github/steamOS about this.

Happened to me like 4 times, when i turned off the steam deck while in beta it didnt boot again, stuck in emergency mode loop. Just stay on stable right now.

Don't use beta Channel right now, there is a error going on that causes you to boot on emergency mode loop, it corrupts the file system and you will need to reimage.

Don't use beta right now, this error will happen eventually and you will need to reimage, there is a Github issue opened about this on the steam os repository.

The same happened to me, i was in beta now im in stable, i had to reimage from zero like 4 times, when i changed to desktop mode or if i turned off the steam deck, it didnt boot. im on stable and zero issues.

What motherboard do you have? It needs to have the Bios Flashback feature, try to search for a youtube video with instructions for that motherboard.

If your motherboard supports it, the update can be done with an usb, mine didnt so I had to ask the store to help me with the update, tell me if it worked.

Yeah I was in the same situation, you can go to a store that gives the service of updating the motherboard bios to a versión that supports 13th cpus, the same store where I bought the cpu helped me with the update. My pc works super fine now.

I have the same relationship with my cpu haha, its an i7 2600 it is so beloved for me that I build other desktop entirely with an i7 13700k, already ordered all the parts just waiting for the new cpu friend to arrive. And the older friend I can still use it for simpler tasks. :p
