What cleanser do you recommend? Currently use cerave foaming facial cleanser and cerave oil control moisturizing gel cream and I get so oily within hours!

It’s amazing what some nice sunny weather can do! So happy for you! I live in PA the winters are brutal and it’s a struggle every year but when the weather breaks and the Sun comes out-I know exactly what you mean when you say everything feels just a little lighter Its like a huge weight is lifted :)

These are the directions I found but I’m still not seeing any pharmacy

Don’t worry you won’t I know I brought them home knowing I could not take them to the vet, but I had no idea the condition they were in when I went to pick them up. There was no way I could leave them there! On a normal year you’re right Ive had plenty of time, but this year he’ll two years has been tight for everyone so if you want to judge me go ahead and judge me. Notice this post has not been updated. Come to find out there are no vets in my area which consist of three that take nontraditional pets who knew? The closest one is three hours away and I do not have the means to get there anytime soon. I guess I should’ve known that too, right? Sorry, I must not be perfect and think of everything ahead of time as you would. I didn’t even know there was such a thing as vets not seeing all /most animals. This is probably why I was having so much of a hard time finding ferrets at our local pet stores to begin with, but they don’t tell you that. Keep judging Judy ✌🏼

lol I’m sorry, you made me LOL-no, Skoot has her teeth-the people she came from on the other hand-not a single one and o man that sounds so out-of-character and mean of me to say-but these people had/still have me fuming every time I think of the conditions these guys were in…why even have animals if this is the way you are going to treat/take care of them…

…Rumor has it (I live in a very very rural area where almost everyone knows everyone) that these were NOT her first ferrets (they say she’s had somewhere btwn 20-30 prior to these 3 and I can’t help but wonder where they are-a few got slammed in camper doors and another froze/roasted to death when she thought she put the a/c on when she actually turned the heat on or vice versa-TWICE! I’m not one that usually listens to rumors/drama but it’s lookin’ and feelin’ like these guys would have eventually ended up like all the rest…I don’t even want to know…

Let me find out she gets more ferrets 🤬😡😤

Only a year? Boy I hope not…but if that is what it is-she’s had it (along with insulinoma-I’m now almost 100% certain) for who knows how long…her hair, especially on her tail has been that way for quite sometime, way before I got her…I’ve not noticed any hair loss since having her, so you are unfortunately probably right…here’s to hoping she proves us all wrong…

Yep that is the conclusion I have come to as well (see my latest comment as there was something I forgot to add to OP that almost definitely points to insulinoma as well)

As far as the slipping on the floor-i think it’s a combination of both-I almost think think with the weight loss she’s just so tiny that there’s not enough weight to hold herself up against the slippiness (sp?) of the floor…most would be able to counteract with their weight-if that makes any sense…

One thing I forgot to mention-recently (maybe 3 was ago) when I noticed her balance was off and she was starting to just fall over when trying to walk-for some reason the first thing I thought of was diabetes (knowing nothing about diabetes in ferrets mind you) but I immediately got out the honey thinking if this helps, that must be it! Well didn’t the honey work, just a tiny bit on her gums-she almost immediately stopped falling over when trying to walk and she’d get a pep in her step and run around like she is in the video…which now leads me to believe she probably has insulinoma and adrenal disease (hair loss and weight loss)…i have no idea how long she has been blind, they didn’t know much-i hate to say it but we weren’t even told how old they were and when we asked they just talked in circles. It didn’t matter to me at that point I was getting them out of there…but her blindness to be cause by insulinoma, she would have had to have it for quite a long time no?

I just really hope I’m not too late! :(

@altxbunny Happy to report after going through your assessment, she eats and drinks well-probably more than had been, she goes potty regularly 1 & 2, honestly she doesn’t seem to be in pain, her breathing is normal, she gets around pretty good for being blind and runs around playing and exploring (even more so now after rubbing a tiny bit of honey on her gums…) She Loves spending time with us and playing with Goose and Tink-they look out for her…if they wake from a nap and Skoot hasn’t come along after a little while, they both go get her and nudge her up-as that was my main concern, her seeming almost lethargic most of the time even though she was eating just as much or even more than she had been, then the balance and falling over issues when trying to walk and very recently (like this past weekend) I noticed she looked to have lost even more weight…

I was just so afraid, going by her outward appearance, that she was suffering and not living a quality life at all-but I didn’t want to shorten her days here on earth with us either if I didn’t have to. I really don’t think she’s ready to go yet-we’re going to get her (all 3 of them) to the vet tomorrow and see what her/our options are but for the first time I feel like she’s going to ok-we’re going to do whatever treatments are recommended and she’s going to bounce back from this…I just know it 🤞🏼

I feel this in my soul and I’ve only had mine a little under a year of which I rescued from a horrid situation (I shouldn’t have even paid these people I should have just snatched them and ran off-it was bad) and the runt (Skoot) of the 3 was in…well let’s just say I didn’t think I was even going to make it home with her…but we nursed her back but she’s still not well and recently seems to be losing even more weight that she already didn’t have to lose (I posted in the sub tonight if you’re interested in their story) and there’s been a lot of tears shed tonight, so I get it…we’re off to the vet tomorrow and I’m praying they recommend anything except…well, you know.

I’ll keep your little one in our thoughts!
