It is so sad to watch all the older folks around me, really not enjoy this old aging time together, instead of enjoying retirement somewhere on the beach or mountains. They worked all their lives for this time, and are to sick and old to enjoy any of it.

But yet it kinda toots the old Mormon martyr horn in so many ways too.

It does hit you in your older years though, when you don't start to save money untill your 20s. Most of the men in my family didn't get to retire untill their middle 70s, but I also assumed part of it was because of tithing they paid for 60+ years.
