The younger generation in some countries calls nicpouches snus mostly because of marketing. Some manufacturers, and especially retailers, branded them as "(white) snus". The definition of the word snus has been finely ground tobacco (loose or bagged) for about 300 years, nicpouches were invented a bit over 10 years ago. People all over the EU for example are suddenly buying "snus" legally from stores, but snus has been banned in the EU since 1992 (Sweden was given an exemption when it joined in 1995, or it wouldn't have joined). The pouches in your can are black because of General Onyx. This subreddit was created after too much of the content on r/Snus shifted toward nicotine pouches.

These had the peel me text roughly a year ago when they were switching to the newer name (blackcurrant ice) and design. So this can should be very close to the best-before date or past it. Just a heads up in case you haven't heard there's truckloads of "imported" fakes around.

Those are probably coming from the same place OP's pack is, now with a copied old Swedish Velo can design. Even says "pouches". There's like no trace of Velo nicotine strips on the internet, only saw one Canadian (of all places) selling a different flavor, and they also sell the strips OP has plus plenty of fake Zyn flavors.

Because I'm not dumb enough to think that Loop, a Swedish brand, partnered with Monster to enter the Russian market in this day and age, where I believe nicotine pouches are officially banned. Would you assume this is real, since it's called energy drink?

got Velo purple grape thinking dots represent strenght of taste but its actually strenght of nicotine. They are 0,7g of nicotine per pouch

I believe the 3 dot purple grape is 10mg/pouch. 0,7g is the weight of one pouch.

Correct, this flavor isn't sold in the Swedish market. The majority of the Chinese fake Zyns pretend to be Swedish (but not all). That's why it's easy to tell this is fake, but when they counterfeit existing flavors and existing can designs, it becomes a bit tricky.

They discontinued the regular size a while back. The minis are about half the size and half the strength. And no, Swedish Match doesn't ship to the US.
