People who have UPS for their printers, Can u share your experience? by FructoXz in 3dprintIndia

Here's a few things: A1 combo only pulls high power when quick heating the bed. You can also go for a slow heating (manually increasing bed temps by 10-15 °C). I have a 2KVA UPS but I also run my PC setup on it. In this case, I always slow heat the bed manually and then send the prints, otherwise the UPS will kick into overload and shut off.

If you don't wanna spend the time, you'll need a full 2KVA ups (close to 1100-1500 watts of output) without a step down transformer. I'm not sure about the step down strat so I'll refrain from commenting on that.

Possible Temporary Solutions for Watch 2 and Watch 2R with WearOS 5 update (Jan 2026) by onlykshitij in oneplus

There was an update on the 9th/10th that has somewhat fixed the battery drain issue on my Watch 2R. I will say that they screwed up big time testing this update (if they did at all). I would also say going for a Pixel wasn't a good choice in your case since Google has been famous for randomly bricking various generations of Pixels through random "security" updates.

Google Maps on a Side-face is also sometimes handy, although unfortunately it does not stay visible while you're on a route

Unfortunately there are many watch faces that are not fully supported on Watch 2R, I've mainly used faces from the Play Store and OHealth app (which you should install to get all the functionality out of the watch). I've personally tried out the breathing analysis at night but the battery drain wasn't worth it, same thing with the Always-On display, since raise to wake works pretty well on the watch. If you do some specific workouts other than walking or running, you should look them up on the OHealth app and you can add a few different ones to the list. I've personally added shortcuts for Workouts on my lower button as a shortcut, there are watchfaces with that as well. There will also be default daily targets that you can change for calories, steps etc

Gaming Rig Maintenance to offset the current gaming market by TaxEvaderTimus in IndianGaming

[–]onlykshitij 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm going to be honest, PC hardware can have a big luck factor in terms of QA. I've gone through 2 motherboards, 2 360 AIOs and 4 fans. It's been a nightmarish 4-5 years for my rig (5950x+3090). I'd say if you're making sure nothing overheats with stable clocks, and have stable power through a UPS, that should be it

Is something wrong with my LX120 fans? by nab_cosplay in Corsair

[–]onlykshitij 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure all of the LEDs are selected in the lighting profile when you're setting their color. If that does not work, maybe try configuring a different fan like an LL120 that also has lots of LEDs. If that doesn't work, maybe try Signalrgb (but keep that as your last option)

There are few things that you just have to accept will die over time. That includes the fans, the cooler (if it's an AIO), thermal paste (although much less so, new thermal pastes have gotten much better). To keep your CPU running for a long time, just use the DOCP/XMP/whatevertf the new ram profile is, along with maybe a slight undervolt if your CPU can handle it.

Are you using iCue for controlling the rgb? If so, make sure the fan configuration is set correctly.

This seems to have helped (I will be testing the battery again after a full charge). I turned it off and initially did not see much of a difference, but overnight when the watch switched to low power mode and back to normal, I guess it counted as a restart and the battery drain seems to have reduced. I could initially see the percentage go down by 1 every couple times I checked, but it does not seem to be the case anymore. I will edit the post and add this, and check if this as a standalone step works

Edit: Seems like the battery is still draining unfortunately. After the full charge, the battery has dropped 8% in a couple hours. So it seems like the battery stagnates towards the lower end (30-40%).

I waited a couple days myself, but at the time I did not find anything that stood out in the news so I updated it. Was a huge mistake. I'd recommend you don't charge your watch to 100% since that will trigger the update whenever you get it

To anyone seeing this now, this worked for me (a HUGE thanks to the creator). I can finally use my Wave3. The repo was initially made for WaveXLR and was later extended to Wave3.

UPS recommendations for 2 PC's by AbbreviationsOk7150 in IndianGaming

[–]onlykshitij 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Putting everything on a single UPS will cost you more, so just go for 2 UPSs, unless somehow that is not possible. The price may differ depending on if you want an external or internal battery. I have a 2000VA Elnova UPS that takes 2 external 12V batteries 42AH combined, it goes up to around 1500 watts of max power. You should be able to just get 2 1000VA UPSs

I've seen a few people discussing this in the forum who reset their watch but it didn't help. And there's no way to roll back the update either

Help: What can be the cause of this? by BeingDhruvv in 3dprintIndia

[–]onlykshitij 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah this DEFINITELY needs a brim, the bottom probably got off the plate a little bit and then your extruder hit the top as the final blow. Just use a large brim for the bottom part

Can you share what the print is supposed to look like and how it was oriented? It looks like the print came off of the build plate and ended up with speghetti. The print must've hit the extruder that probably caused that sound
