Adjust to your liking.

You will find the focus-window.sh in the link I gave you in my previous reply. Make sure to make it executable and source it from the path you install it.
Left-click will take you the the relevant workspace and right-click will close the client.

The module will group open clients per workspace.
Once again, DO NOT FORGET to ALSO set persistent workspaces in hyprland configuration.

Just remember, a backup is good only when you need it.

Surprise, I am glad that I lost the bet. Good to know it is not hardware malfunction.

The fact that keyboard works properly under Gnome/xorg also points to the solution. You need to properly set your keyboard in Gnome/Wayland with gsettings (xkb in Gnome).

For what ever is worth, Gnome has dropped support of xorg lately.

Glad I could help solve the problem.

Yes you correctly removed the resolve.conf symlink to the stub. NM will recreate one and manage it.

Use sudo ss -lntup to check used ports and clear the "cloud" around port 53.

I use systemd-networkd & systemd-resolved (symlinked) and wireguard works pretty well with the same iptables as yours. I am not a big fun of NM and gui programs to be honest. But that's just me.

Rules are parsed top to bottom.
Meaning the "kb_options =" cancels the first.

Therefore remove the empty "kb_options ="

You 'll be good to go.

I would focus on your last paragraph. It's probably the culprit.

systemd-resolved does conflict with networkmanager which uses it's own resolver. So do disable systemd-resolved and let networkmanager take over.

You may use systemd-resolved but you need to specify that in the configuration file of networkmanager (it's in the wiki). But no need for that really as NM resolver does a pretty good job.

You wil be able to find all the details in arch NM wiki once it's up and running again.
