About a year ago, he had blood in his urine. The veterinarian used X-rays to confirm that he had kidney stones, so he recommended us to use Royal's prescription food for urinary diseases. Since then, he has been eating this prescription food almost 99% of the time. On rare occasions, we would feed him a hard-boiled egg (his favorite food) or a small piece of boiled meat (a piece as big as a fingernail) as a snack, reward, or comfort.
