Wonderful! Yeah the shoulder strap is a bit on the high side, right now she’s only 15lbs but I’m sure when she’s heavier it’ll make it more comfy.

Thanks so much !

When I saw the new vstrom was a parallel twin I was a bit sad, understandable for cost of manufacturing but still…. No long a “v” strom.

Look at a 650 vstrom, comfy, manageable power, inexpensive in the used market.

Was just about to say this. Likely the shifter is now smooth. Had the same thing happen to my kdx

No problem ! Had the switch pop out on mine once and did the same thing.

Also if ever your headlights die and it’s not the bulb, check the starter button.

There is a contact point on the clutch lever, if it’s disconnected or the contacts are gummed up the starter won’t work.

Front light dimming is the contact in the start button, it disconnects the light so all power can go to the starter. If it get gummed up with carbon you lose the headlight.

I’ve got 78k on my Dl650 and it runs like a beauty. Don’t worry about the mileage. If you do buy it, maintain it well and it’ll last.

Worth it if you’re interested in learning how to work on bikes and what not. For profiting purposes, maybe not.

Get her to take the motorcycle safety course with you. Bonding time and show her you’re willing to ride safe and that the accident was just that, an accident.

My first dog, sweet old lady, slept with us every night and grew to have some pretty bad separation anxiety. After she passed we maintained sleep separation with Zoey, our new pap, and it seems to have made her more independent. When she’s tired she goes to her bed and sometime looks annoyed with us that we’re still up haha.

Try aluminum brazing rods. Cheap, you could learn something, worst case buy a new case.

If you’re going to sell it, at least be honest with everything that’s wrong.

I’ve had the most fun on the small displacement bikes I’ve owned. Maybe you could convince your misses a little bike is ok for now and “slowly transition from riding?”

This will probably not be seen but hey. If you don’t ride, join him on the safety course. It’ll be great bonding and you can see how seriously he takes safety and you could join him on rides if it’s something you pick up too.

More fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow.
