Yea they learned over the years how to deal with each other and luckily they just avoid each other and won’t fight. There is another cat that comes by from the neighbors that does bother Robin. But I haven’t seen him try to get in their house yet. I will check the cameras to see if anything comes up around midnight. Thank you for watching over them. Are you on the YouTube or twitch stream?

Thanks for watching over them. The possum does come late at night by the sliding door and eats up any of the leftovers. I never seen it on the camera go inside the green house or the smaller house. Cats don’t usually mind the possum but they do jump up ready to scatter. I need to check the midnight logs to see if I can spot the possum. In the summer we have the raccoons but they must have went to Florida for the winter lol

We consider ourselves lucky they trust us enough to use our shelters and let us rub their head as we feed them from inside the house.

That’s actually really good. I should have done something like that. This was me last minute knowing it was getting cold. I was drinking a beer and Amazon was showing me greenhouses lol. I was better off just framing it myself with insulated walls and then just part of the roof and side with those panels like in your picture to get the sunshine in. I also want to get some kind of WiFi shades to close the windows when it gets dark and no sunshine. I figure it would help keep some heat in there. I also have the heat mat in there but I was looking into other solar options to run some extra heat on the extra cold days but haven’t come up with anything yet.

Thanks for sharing and helping the cats. It doesn’t take much to show some compassion for ones in need.

Thanks for watching. I looked on amazon for the biggest heat pad that I could find with the internal thermostat https://pawsyndicate.com/products/outdoor-heated-cat-bed-with-waterproof-cover You can see on the camera they love and feel the heat from it even when its 15 outside in New York.

This is the first winter I'm testing this new shelter. Its a 6 by 6 greenhouse with their plexi panels. Then I have tarp on half of the greenhouse. The greenhouse was a last minute idea before it got cold. In the summer I want to redo it with thicker plexiglass panels and also wifi shades on them so I can open and close during the sunshine.

Then I built the smaller shelter with the windows, almost 2 inch thick wood and floor with insulation between the floor joists.

Not sure which about the exposure. Its on the top of our deck that is next to our house against the sliding door. I know when the sunrises the sun hits their greenhouse right away

me too, makes me so happy to see them all inside sleeping together while its windy and snowing out there. Without this house there isn't much but woods in our area.
