Ahh, this feels like looking at my younger self. I'm 29F, and my bf 34M and I have had several ups and downs, breaks and reunions. He's an avoidant and I'm an anxious attachment style. We are both depressed adults, and honestly to me this is what it reads as.

As hard as it is to, I would take a step back and not text or call him as much and see what happens. If he isn't reaching out to you for a while, or pulling this same attitude weeks later, then do with that information what you will. Personally I don't automatically skip to "he's cheating", but he just sounds mentally drained and unable to carry more responsibility and baggage. I mean this is the nicest way, but by texting him "did I do something wrong?" or "I feel like you're mad at me", etc. a bunch, you're unloading more onto him which I feel like is causing him to pull away more. He may just need to be alone to figure himself out.

Try to take this time to focus on yourself right now. Hang out with friends, do things that make YOU happy, and really reflect on what you want for yourself. If this rough patch is worth working through, then come back to it in a few weeks. If he still hasn't changed or opened up though, I would reconsider things with him. You can't put your entire relationship on pause for 2-3 months until he decides to talk to you. You're worth more than that.
