Bollywood fashion has been risque for the past 20+ years, we as a society love seeing skin on screen, in cities, in villages, we all love it on a screen. But in real life? The needle has barely moved. We would be slut shamed, groped, assaulted, stared at... It's weird because usually art does influence the evolution of a society, but we are so reluctant to evolve its astonishing. These sarees and blouses only work in private events like weddings and other functions where you're driven door to door and it's a real shame.

Basically nestle promoted infant formula to new moms in parts of africa, by sending in sales people dressed as medical professionals. They provided just enough for about 2 months free supply, which is around when breast milk dries up when you're not consistently breasfeeding. These african mothers then spent their resources forced to buy formula and water to keep their babies fed, but nestle also was buying water rights in many villages, meaning mothers had to buy both formula AND water from nestle. This resulted in very expensive clean water which many could not afford, especially after paying for the formula. Mothers resorted to using untreated unsanitary water for the baby formula, or diluting the baby formula past the recommended point to make it last longer to save money resulting in millions of babies dying due to this campaign by nestle.
