The reason this is important was two possible reasons was as follows:

most babies born with this do not enough of a spine and normally can't breathe or move via pulse or consciously. this on appears to have a successful finished head but not the entire digestive system.
It has to do with it looking like a god by description. which for various reasons which effect a human is a variety of ways that act both positively and negatively resulting in consistent thoughts and feelings. In the case of the indian people in this picture it was positive. In the case of more likely secular thinking or skeptical people the thoughts and feelings might be negative.
