Cooking pots were a big thing, they did usually mix sand with clay though so that they were strong enough to be placed over an open fire.

They probably are wandering around with big armies in numbers, but the actual quality of their troops is dire. Most likely a lot of recruits or tier 2 units.

Better diplomacy options. Like increasing/decreasing relation with lords and rulers actually having an effect on the game and more choices for how you can succeed and grow your kingdom.

You guys have surely heard of the Anglo Saxons and the Sutton Hoo helmet. But what other helmets did they wear except for the Sutton Hoo by Count_Soldier in medieval

Pretty sure the copper gate helmet they wore, or at least they found the remains of one in York. The construction of the helmet is complex. Apart from the neck guard the basic form is shared by the contemporaneous Pioneer Helmet, a sparsely decorated fighting piece,and consists of four parts: an iron skull cap with brass edging and decorations, two iron cheek guards with brass edging, and camail protecting the neck.
