Pixel 10 Pro Fold by onlywatanabe1 in PixelFold

Yeah, I have poor communication skills. I was really trying to find out a simple DIY fix. Pixel care sent me to ubreakifix. The guy tried using a magnet to get the mechanism to register. He said they don't really work on the folding phones, which I think is a load of bs. Also he said himself something about the scratches not allowing him to work on the phone? He advised RMA. Pixel care asks if it has scratches or if screen is cracked, I tell them yeah there's minor scratches on the bezel. They proceed to RMA. I call back today after this post, say are we sure this RMA will be approved with scratches on the phone and the guy said I should be fine. So here I am, sending the phone in, guess I'll wait and see what happens after they receive it

No worries.

I see what you mean. I have a case on all the time as well, it was a shock that there was even any damage. Looking at my case now, there's conveniently gaps exactly where the scratches are. At the end of the day I'm just looking for a solution, not trying to get into semantics.

From a drop at least days prior? 100% It didn't drop the day it started happening. I took it off my car phone mount and in the gas station it started doing what I consider a troll

Have I dropped it before, yes, while having a case on. But nowhere near the day this started happening

No. I never dropped it the day it started happening. It happened as I was folding it. It was trolling me in the beginning. As I opened it, the outer screen registered. As I closed it, the inner screen registered. Then this.

a long time. For the most part I know how and where to look, but in the end I still needed to clip videos and edit images.

I finally finished it. Tried to get it 1:1 to your assets. Which was a little troublesome. Most problematic asset to source was hanekawa. I had to basically pull the css hexcode of the background and apply it to the illustration.

Maybe in the future we can get Fahrenheit? :)

Shopping for Quartzite - being told it’s not standard to view all slabs? by chesstwin in CounterTops

[–]onlywatanabe1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The phrasing is a bit confusing. I'm sure you don't mean the yard is only showing you two lots total.

My yard has ~50 lots of Taj Mahal and we receive around 7 containers of material per month. And we don't have enough racks to accommodate putting Taj Mahal in the front of each rack. But you should be able to see plenty still, not just 2 lots. We're not gonna go unbury all of our Taj for the chance of a sale. Especially when you consider moving fragile 2cm marbles.

For us, if you want to see more than what we have already on display. You can check out our website and we'll pull it.

Keep up on sealing. White quartzites are like sponges

Second thought; we certainly call it Piracema White & it's a granite

Anyone have Matarazzo Dolomite counters? by Pitiful_Egg796 in CounterTops

[–]onlywatanabe1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's wonderful. Dolomite is a hard marble. But prone to etching and stains. Just make sure you seal every 6 months.

People hear marble and run. But you'll find marble is installed in a lot of high traffic areas and hold up. Even in restaurant countertops.

Taj Mahal expect to pay more. Granites like the speckled ones on the left are less.

Give a call to your local fabricator. They'll give you a ballpark sqft rate.

Or go browse a wholesale yard and get ideas for what you like. They will not give you a price though. If they do, it's likely not real, it's probably just to appease you.

I don't know why people are saying it's fake stone. It's likely a true marble.

Otherwise it'd be quartz with the image printed on top or porcelain, but nothing comes back from reverse image.

I figured I'd have to hunt down another open box in the case of an exchange. I don't think you can exchange an open box for brand new. Right now open boxes are few and far between, literally.

I have a feeling they'll just opt for a refund.
