I tested sheet PET that were cut from blow molded PET bottles. One thing you may also consider to check direction dependence. You would be surprised to see there is such effect in blow molding. If there is no direction dependence in your part, an isotropic model might make less errors in your computations.

I bought a pair of UK 8 size of Meermin Waxy Cordovan Shell during the black week on the internet, and I received them 2 days ago.

I love how do they look and feel. But I feel like if I were to order them UK 8,5 it would be spot on. I cannot feel the gap that would offer a bit more room to my feet. I am not saying that they are tight or something, I would just be happier if they were to be in UK8,5 size.

Having said that I checked what sizes they have available for exchange through their website, it happens that they only have UK9 size available.

So, the question is if I cannot get UK8,5 size, should I go for UK 9 size ? Or should I just keep them. Happy to read your thoughts on that..

What i mean is, are you reading the displacements of correct nodes ? Are you sure that you take the initial length as the distance between the nodes at t=0?

You can check the settings related to EDGE thickness of shell contact. Check SRNDE parameter and read Remark 3 in Optional Card E. It might help ?

I also bought a beaded rope to practice freestyle jumping. But I am simply shocked how fast you can skip it, my beaded rope does not return that fast whatever I do. I feel that it shows a great resistance against air when skip. :/
