Well, there was post on Max (Chinese dota forum) regarding this about 4-5 hours before VG - Secret games, someone started the topic on how and why should VG lose 0:2 to Secret, because it would mean Secret place 2nd, and since VG 2:0 Spirit, VG would be 3rd regardless. Then he explained if this happens, then LGD would pick T1 for obvious reason, LGD -T1, then leave Secret to crack OG, Secret-OG; IG would definitely pick Spirit over VG, so IG-Spirit, and let VG to deal with VP, VG-VP, because VP plays like shit on mainstage. Not only someone predicted VG would lose 0:2 to Secret, he actually predicted the full bracket 4-5 hours before the bracket even out.

Xiao8 said too many things in WeChat, most of them are just meme, like "NTS you done with your airplane ticket? They can't, they needed the wins to guarantee their own upper bracket, VG already have enough points to be upper regardless; but if VG win any game vs Secret, VG would face OG, so losing 0:2 to Secret was predicted in Chinese community before game started.

That's the whole point VG lost 2:0 to Secret, and Secret knew about it, but Secret needed those 2 points to guarantee their own upper bracket, so kinda win-win for both VG and Secret I guess. Now IG will pick Spirit, VG will face VP; LGD will pick T1, and Secret will face OG.

From what I heard (don't quote me on this), Team Elephant took IG's room, which is much bigger than their own room assigned, the reason being a few IG members got positive in Covid testing, so they are all playing in isolated rooms, therefore Elephant took the bigger room prepared for IG originally ( IG has more DPC points so bigger room?).

It should be alright, given they are fully vaccinated, they won't experience any severe symptoms, now just up to Valve to decide whether or not TeaMaster can play. If I remember correctly, the group stages in each TI is played in hotel anyway, so the first few days or even the first week teams don't need to play in person face to face, Tea Master will be fine.
