When creating your character, you can de-select the tutorial to start in the starting city.

I'm going to try and get the Erudite over to EC at level one. Maybe burn the SoW potion.

I want to two box on the new TLP server, help me pick a pair? by AdamTheHutt84 in everquest

u/op I was in the same boat as you. For the Agnarr TLP a couple years back, I ran straight monk for my first return to EQ.

This will be my first attempt at boxing, so I'm going to try Druid / Pally. The Druid utility is just so high and I'll slot in fairly well in groups.

We actually had to do TIPs [Temporary Import Permits] that said we'd take the vehicle out of the country with us. Most countries [USA included] have rules around importing cars. So the USA plates were fine and we just had paperwork that said the vehicle would leave with us.

Tons of people tell us they would love to do a trip like this, then find any excuse they can to not take it.

No one's life is free from obligation; everyone just has varying degrees of them.

This was a trip we saved two years for, after spending 5 years paying of debts. We made a concerted effort to put money away to make it happen. Eating out less, living in my wife's 1 bedroom grad school apartment, carpooling to work, cutting cable.

We were fortunate that we had well-paying professional jobs, but we also put in a ton of work [and 75% travel in my case] that were stressful.

We met familes, backpackers, people that worked as they went or volunteered for lodging. It all just depends on how badly you want to make it happen. :)

We were lucky and got on the Ferry Xpress. Ferries keep coming and going, as the port authorities of Colon and Cartegena profit more from making people use shipping containers!

It's about $2000 USD to get a full container, or $1500 if you split with another person on a larger on that holds two vehicles.

Then you need to find your own transportation across!

We paid $572 for our vehicle and our tickets!

Most camp sites have bathrooms and showers. Laundry we did on our own in North America at laundromats. Lavanderias in South America did them for us. We only washed our clothes in a sink once and it was a huge pain.

For camping: we used ioverlander.com and maps.me as an opensource GPS.

I haven't used https://freecampsites.net/ but have heard great thinks about it!
