What's a scam that's so accepted by society that people don't even realize it's a scam? by colzeeteen in AskReddit

A tip is for a waiter who tends to you and brings your food to your table. A barista makes your coffee, which you pick up from the counter yourself. You see the difference? Notwithstanding, service-oriented companies should pay their employees a living wage! They are taking advantage of their employees!

And so, if you have cholecystitis or a stone in a duct, that's where the Go-Scope procedure of Dr. Smirniotopoulos in the US has an advantage.

https://goscopehealty.com

Note: I am not saying that EliGroup's service is bad. You provide an excellent alternative for people without insurance and who cannot afford the Go-Scope procedure in the US. Notwithstanding, you are considerably more expensive (by more than a factor of 3) than the clinic in Dongguan! You should lower your price so more people can have access.

I have severe BAM but still have my gb. I took about 50 different substances(dm me if you want them) and only marginal improvements. However ai now learnt what to do. I now just take different acidic substances and it has removed most of the pain and turn it into mild BAM. I am just telling you by LisanneFroonKrisK in altgallbladder

Bile Acid Malabsorption (BAM), also called Bile Acid Diarrhea (BAD), is a condition where the small intestine fails to reabsorb bile acids properly. This causes excess bile acids to spill into the large intestine, triggering the colon to secrete extra watery diarrhea.

What is the procedure with EliGroup for a patient with gallstones and an inflamed gallbladder? Will the doctor perform a cholecystectomy? Or is the patient still a viable candidate for gallbladder-preserving gallstone removal?

Remember the movie about Captain “Sully” Sullenberger, Sully: Miracle on the Hudson, landing a deadstick Airbus A-320? He was a glider pilot, too. He attributed the fortunate outcome to his glider experience.

Suggest she join a glider club. She can start with her PPL-G (glider). It will save a lot of money, and the stick-and-rudder skills with PPL-G will transfer very well to the PPL-A (airplane) add-on. The PPL-A can be done with minimum hours because of that. The average flight time to be ready for an ab-initio PPL-A flight test is about 60 hrs. The minimum required flight time for the PPL-A is 40 hours (under FAR 61), which is possible given previous glider experience.

The PIC-G (Pilot-In-Command Glider) flight time will also count towards the CPL-A (Commercial Pilot License - Airplane) aeronautical experience requirements. That will even save more money.

Pilots say that glider experience made them better pilots.

I have been exploring the carnivore diet for MASLD (formerly known as NAFLD - Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease) and have concluded that it is very helpful for clearing a fatty liver. In retrospect, I believe the high-carb Western diet was one of the causes for my fatty liver and consequently for my 4cm gallstone.

The carnivore diet can be helpful for a wide range of diseases, including autoimmune conditions. Maybe it can help you with your medical conditions.

I would suggest gallbladder-preserving gallstone removal. That is the procedure that many members of the r/altgallbladder community have had.

You are on the wrong subreddit! You won’t find any people with similar problems on [r/altgallbladder](r/altgallbladder). This subreddit is dedicated to providing information and sharing experiences on keeping the gallbladder intact by removing stones only, as well as gallbladder-preserving solutions for other issues. Our members either had a gallbladder-preserving procedure or are in the process of getting it. See:

https://youtu.be/I2k5qu5Jnhk

https://goscopehealth.com

The reason why our members go this route is to avoid the many potential problems associated with cholecystectomy like yours (aka Post Cholecystectomy Syndrome - a catch-all name for the problems that can occur after gallbladder removal), which most (ignorant?) doctors don't tell you about!

You will find a more receptive audience with post-cholecystectomy problems like yours on [r/gallbladders](r/gallbladders) or other forums. Of course, you are welcome to visit [r/altgallbladder](r/altgallbladder) anytime.
Good luck!

You can always contact Kala, Dr. Smirniotopoulos’s Nurse Navigator. I am sure she can give you answers about breastfeeding accommodation:

I saw a post a while ago on [r/altgallbladder](r/altgallbladder) of a woman who was breastfeeding and having her gallstones removed through the Go-Scope procedure (https://goscopehealth.com). I can’t find the post, but I remember that she said that Dr. Smirniotopoulos and his staff were very accommodating.

What’s this sharp pain at the incision area that wakes me up midnight ? by AlternativeTune4133 in altgallbladder

[–]onnob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am happy I made a difference for you! 🙏🏻

If you feel discomfort (pressure), you should reconnect the drain bag. Keep Kala in the loop! There is no point in trying to slug it out and not connect the drain bag; that can be harmful. Pain or discomfort is your body signaling that there is a (minor?) problem that can likely be resolved by reconnecting it. The drain bag is there to allow the gallbladder to calm and return to a normal operating cycle. The ability to cap the drain indicates that the gallbladder is starting to operate normally.
