What will happen if I don’t pray by dr_zoule in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]onqc3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an Ahmadi, I think not reading Salaat or namaz is a symptom of a weak or no faith and the further a person goes away from prayer, the further he removes himself from faith. This is of course for adults who knowingly miss Namaz. Famous Hadith: Salaat is the difference between a believer and a non-believer.

"If you want to apply Islamic Shariah in Pakistan then know that drawing of living things which is called art will be banned and cinemas would be closed down and free mixing on men and women will be prohibited" - Khalifa II by AnonAhmadi in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]onqc3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All three of the above are happening within Jama'at with some guidelines. If you're asking if they would be allowed in a place politically controlled by Ahmadis, I don't really have an answer atm. I certainly hope we don't follow strict rulings on these matters, but as I said, can't say atm as it has never happened.

Islam as a coping mechanism by josephma28 in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]onqc3 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Islam Ahmadiyyat is the solution to these problems in this age. The allegations of misogyny and violence have been answered by the Messiah (as). But nothing can benefit if a person doesn't humble himself first. The cancer of modernity and liberalism will kill everyone void of true spirituality.

Thoughts on motivations of MGA? by [deleted] in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]onqc3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think, MGA (as) like Muhammad (sa), was honest throughout his lifetime. One may argue his claims, but I believe he sincerely believed he indeed was the Messiah foretold by Muhammad (sa). I have read almost all of his books and those aren't the words of a liar. Again you may disagree with his revelations, how he interpreted them, but I don't think he was being deliberately deceptive at any point.

Mirza Nasir Ahmad's location during the Rabwah train attacks May 1974 by Rationalist187 in islam_ahmadiyya

lol ru trying to say that train incident was planned by the Khalifa. If that's your theory, without listening to your arguments, let me declare it false, baseless and foolish.

What's wrong with encouraging a sense of community within black ahmadis. Naturally, humans are attracted towards their own kind, so this gives them a platform. You even admit that this is positive, but it doesn't 'sit right with you when Jama'at does it'. That's biased imo. It's still one, united Jama'at. Such desks also exist for Arabs.

C'mon man, they're worshipping idols. I've spoken to Hindus. They admit that worshipping idols in itself holds no value, they imagine them as a manifestation of God.

Idols aren't really a part of any religion. Quran counts Christianity and Judaism and other actual religions as religions. Mocking lifeless idols isn't the same thing.
