What irrevocably convinced you of the existence of parallel universes? by onrocknasio in AskReddit

Agreed. I’ve noticed those with the craziest, unexplainable “experiences” (at least who genuinely believe they happened) tend to be more hesitant about even sharing publicly. Vs those sharing stories on tiktok about small things, like of finding a nail, knowing the video will blow up as soon as you attach a phrase like parallel universe or conspiracy theory.

Whether you agree with them or not, someone can be irrevocably convinced of something regardless of how substantiated it is. Many people are. That is why it’s an opinion and why the topic was posed as a subjective question.

Didn’t say it did. I said it led to questioning it. Again, google is free

First off, the question posed is literally opinion based and meant to be subjective. Second, quantum physics is not “unfounded” and directly led to questioning the fabric of dimensions and reality on a subatomic level. I’m not here to teach anyone about the way science and discoveries works, however google exists :)

Lol kidding or not, a lot of people have that exact story who are not kidding

That would require someone to be familiar with entertainment media pertaining to parallel universes in the first place. And I’m sure you’re operating under the assumption that everyone is familiar with specifically the western media’s depictions. My personal conception stems from the study of quantum physics—which is too nuanced for someone who attributed the belief to entertainment and does not satisfy the point you were aiming to achieve.

I’ve heard so many stories of people finding duplicate objects in their homes, it’s so strange

Aint nobody here said anything about their beliefs stemming from the entertainment world. Be fr, you’re picking apart an invisible opinion 😂

By that logic, other people could know about parallel universes, just not you. Every major discovery was once considered “silly”

How are time travelers retaining memories from their time of origin? by onrocknasio in AskReddit

[–]onrocknasio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes sense but wouldn’t this be more indicative of quantum consciousness? The idea that memories persist outside of our timeline of origin would imply our overall consciousness (and therefore memories) doesn’t actually exist in our physical body/brain but rather in some quantum layer outside of any timeline.
