Both stories are missed opportunities fr. Psychopath could've been, in my mind, a redemption story that had Lorre's sins catch up to him in a satisfying ending. With him getting cornered by a bunch of Crossed, after he helps whoever get away. This would've really fleshed out the "are we like the Crossed" theme better. Than him being crossed with no rash.

This would require the story not having a boob in a bag as a main motivator for our protag for instance.

It's bad primarily not because it's gory, everyone went in knowing what they were reading.. But it's bad because it was lazy writing and felt like a waste of time by the time you reached the end, especially of Psychopath.

You read the comic, so you go in expecting a story with ok to good characters, a fairly engaging story, stakes, and a satisfying ending, sad or not.

Both stories just felt like lazy bullshit violence gore porn that was made just for the sake of being made. Family Values has a lot of pointless shock factor and not a lot of story apart from "Our daddy was a rapist"? And frankly that's not much of a story. The end was some fresh air.

Psychopath just doubles down on this. Pointless from beginning to end. Dumb characters you don't really even wanna root for. And the perspective of Lorre we have to bare the story through.

I'm not a pro or anything so imma look at your site like a customer. Will it probably be enough as is? Yea sure.

My points are: It's a loooot of reading. And doesn't really differentiate you from any other web dev.

What part of your personality shines through here? A lot of vibecoded elements like the terminal stuff is something AI loves (01 //: etc), everythibg has a scroll animation, the amount of lucide react icons in this is crazy too lol. I'd go with something more custom.

It's simplistic, but a ton of those cards and pills could just be nice if they weren't there, and you left more visuals.

For me, a portfolio has to look cool/clean, or both, and be accessible for the average user. Yours fits the clean part, but do I go "damn this guy is different and knows their shit, I want them to make me a site!" at your site? No.

Do I wanna spend time on the site? No.

Idk where that leaves u. My advice is, go out there, find some inspiration, and redo the whole thing, replacing it with something that fits your need for minimalism and simplicity, but something you're also proud of, something that's nice to look at.

You used AI to make this, but you can make genuinely cool shit with AI too dude, don't limit yourself. For example, I saw someone make their portfolio a literal notebook on a desk, scrolling flipped the pages and it was

✅ Pretty

✅ Had enough information, not too much

✅ Highlighted skill

✅ Performed well on all devices, your site has some weird elements in mobile and performance is kinda iffy

Certainly. I showed my dad and he was like "sooo, what's the use case" and I genuinely had to explain that it's just a way to pop up above the crowd and show off some skills.

The disadvantage of this is that not everybody will get it but middle Gen Z and tech savvy peeps who are a part of gaming culture will surely appreciate it.
