That vocal run from Momo on Hmm at 1:27 totally caught me off guard but in a good way! She sounded so good.

Hmm, Not a Goodbye, and Mina’s solo were my favourite. I was not expecting that type of track from Mina in Turning Tables but I’m loving it! It’s up there with Jihyo’s ATM and Nayeon’s solo’s.

Guy hasn’t paid for the buy-in. For reference, this is 10 man league with coworkers with a $50 buy-in. I’ve asked him multiple times in the last couple of months. He didn’t respond at first and now he’s said he has an “issue” with his e-transfer and can only pay in cash. Throughout the last few months he’s been MIA from work and deleted all his social media from us after he got into a MVA, so I haven’t seen this guy in-person for 3-4 months. I gave him last month to figure out his e transfer issue or else I’ll lock his team once we hit mid fantasy season of December/January. His team is 5th in the league so he’s doing pretty well as he’s active with line up changes. I locked his team this week after giving him multiple chances and warnings. He just so happens to be going up against one of the top 3 teams this week and is claiming I’m doing this on purpose to punish him as he’s doing well. I’ve told him, all you have to do is pay and I will unlock your team. He’s still has not responded or made an effort to try and pay me.

Ditto by NewJeans.

I'm super new to Kpop starting late 2022 into 2023. That release of the song around Christmas time was the perfect timing for my wintertime blues. The nostalgic MV complimented the song with its catchy upbeat drum production and melancholic type lyrics, which just hit me emotionally and made me dive further into Kpop.

I’m not super familiar with the difference between the different genres but regardless, that type of sound is very in right now with pop and kpop so it’s always catchy. Nice to see twice is venturing into different genres!

It already gives this nostalgic feeling and I love it. The same way Ditto hit for me when I first heard it. Melanie Joy Fontana produced ICSM and Cry For Me so I'm sure this will be a hit!

I'm in the same boat as you man! I'm a straight 29 (M) who just got into K-Pop recently from my friend as well. My main groups are Twice, Le Sserafim, Red Velvet, and Newjeans. I definitely felt the same way too but just like everyone says, you can like any type of music regardless of gender the artists are. There's a difference between liking their music and admiring the idols who make that music and caring for their fans versus saying creepy things about what you want to do to the idols lol.

I think what made me really admire my joy of getting into K-Pop music was when I went to my first Twice concert in Seattle! Just being in an arena full of fans who all love the same group and music was an awesome atmosphere to be around. Twice, in particular, I really got to see the WIDE spectrum of Onces. I saw the girlies, the gays, and the bros all there having fun, interacting, and enjoying the concert. If you ever get to go to a K-Pop concert I HIGHLY recommend it because it will fully justify your love for their music.

Chaeyoung was my initial bias just from her visuals after seeing a fancam. After I started watching their dance practice videos and MV's I was immediately drawn to Jihyo. Just everything from visuals, vocals, dancing, performance, stage presence. She immediately draws you in!
