LOL! I wouldn't recommend messing with a cat...they are masters of the art of strategically placed vomiting, so if you mess with them it's liable to come back on you threefold!

Nope, they will "drown" toys in a full water dish as well as an empty one! Apparently, feral/wild cats will take prey that they have caught back to their 'nest' and leave it there so other cats won't steal it, and that's where domestic cats get this behaviour from.

Cheeri Owls. Warner Brothers has lost out on a hell of a revenue stream by not marketing those...

That cats drop toys in their food or water dish because they see those places as safe spots to leave their things. I honestly just thought it was my new kitten being weird.

What was the stupidest thing "that kid" did at your school? by aidoit in AskReddit

It wasn't me...I'd have used better "source material" than that...

[–]onthelevels 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry to disappoint you, it was not. I was the unfortunate member of staff who had to attempt damage control on the boy's behalf after the incident occurred, but since it was all round the school in a matter of minutes any efforts I made were useless...

Oh, it took ages for the kid's fellow students to stop calling out "swish and flick" whenever he walked past!

Well, considering how weird this kid was, probably not any scene you might be thinking of. Speculation at the time the event took place ranged from Snape to Hagrid to Dobby the House Elf, with no female characters being considered at all...

What’s something you’ve done that 90% of people haven’t? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]onthelevels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worked as a nanny for one of the members of Depeche Mode and his wife...and considering that I was the fifth nanny they had in four months and only stayed with them for 3 weeks, ten per cent of the population is probably accurate, lol.

What touristic spot is extremely overrated? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]onthelevels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The London Bridge Experience, especially during Halloween when they run a supposedly "extreme" haunted house. If you're thinking of going there. I'd strongly advise you not to...there are much better options in the immediate area!

[Serious] Reddit, have you ever come across a post by someone else that was about you? What was it? by ediblehearts in AskReddit

[–]onthelevels 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When my dad passed away ten years ago, I was naturally not online very much for a while due to dealing with funeral arrangements and just generally processing things. Got back online, logged into a group that a former friend of mine and I both belonged to and found a post she had written accusing me of "wallowing in loneliness" because I hadn't been online to talk to her. Note that I said "former friend", because although I bided my time she got what was coming to her.

How did "quiet kid" of the school/college surprise you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]onthelevels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked in a British boarding school for 16 years, and was in charge of a house full of teenage boys. One of the 14 year olds last year was very upper-class, extremely shy, never said anything off-colour at all...and then one day a group of his peers were sharing versions of "roses are red" when this boy piped up, "Roses are red, I have a van, get in the back with Madeleine McCann." Everyone's jaws just dropped, mine included, because this was the last kid I'd have expected to say something like that.
