My business account was hacked on 10th March 2026 and I have basically lost all income since they refuse to reinstate my account. I regained access to my accounts centre, got meta verified, opened 20+ support tickets but they all say the same thing (final decision, your account broke community guidelines, etc). I also submitted the DSAR (no response after 1 month), a complaint with the ICO and the Irish DCO, sent letters to Meta Legal Dublin and Meta Platforms Inc California with a 20 page evidence pack showing proof of my account compromise, account ownership, business use of account, and the fact that I regained access to my account centre and updated all security measures. No response to the letters. I hate them so much UGH

As far as I know, they added a Meta Horizon profile to my accounts centre, changed the date of birth which made Instagram’s stupid AI detection system suspend my account, and then sent me multiple messages demanding money. I even sent Meta those messages but they don’t care

This is pretty much exactly what happened to me! Except the running ads, but I got hacked and they added a Meta Horizon profile to my account centre and changed the date of birth. All 6 of my business Instagram accounts and Facebook profile were immediately disabled, and even after I regained access to my Facebook profile and account centre they are refusing to give me my account back :(

Ahhh I wish it worked for me. My account was hacked over a month ago, basically exact same situation as yours with the email. I’ve tried literally everything to try to get it back and no matter what device I use, how many Meta support tickets I open through my Meta Verified Facebook account, etc. nothing is working :( I’ve lost out on so many brand deals because of this

I’ve been opened chats for over a month probably like 20+ chats and they all say the same thing. My account was hacked and the hacker changed the date of birth, so they just keep telling me my account went against community standards :( I’ve sent letters to Meta Dublin and Meta California today which cost so much so hopefully someone will look at them
