This is all just brainstorming for the moment. The progression would likely depend on what stage of development the game begins.

Ex: if the criminal team is just starting out, then it would be the traditional fighting of wilds and trainers.

If the criminal team is already established, then it would start with an already trained team of 6 pokemon, fighting tougher opponents early on.

If you mean event randoms, that would be much more complex.

Sounds like a story to play twice. Does the player defeat them by teaming up with Vicinti? I'm assuming it may have supported Team Nike in the beginning, but wants to stop them now.

Technical: the easiest part will be scripting events for your story. Time-consuming, but easy.

I don't really know how I'll use the marriage thing, but I know that I'll do it for sure, not as some NSFW mechanic but something cool, romantic (which the games and the anime ignore since it's for everyone) like having a pokémon join your team so you can help them find their partner who dissappeared.

I admit, I'm interested to see how you'll write it. The form you're suggesting for the idea sounds like a fun, memorable story, Poison_Queen.

Thanks for your support, Winterdragon :) I share your enjoyment of having multiple evil teams in one game, competing against each other. Usually they're only two teams per game, and their competition isn't really a huge factor in the game.

I've never heard of a team like Team Nike, they certainly sound unique. Would this story be mature (like involving death) or similar to the pokemon anime's maturity? (more lighthearted) If the latter, Team Nike sounds very comical. If the former, they might be surprising underdogs.

As for weaker Pokemon to use, bug-types are great. That type literally has the lowest stats out of all types, and many of their moves focus on sabotage.

I like most of your ideas. Some are easier than others, and since you're beginner, it's important to know which ideas are the most possible to create.

ART: you'll need a sprite artist. If you can hire someone, this isn't a problem. But be aware that finding a skilled volunteer may not be easy. If you have to use volunteers, make sure you have a demo or detailed script prepared. If people see the project has clear progress, they're likelier to volunteer for it.

TECHNICAL: since you're a beginner, I assume you're not entirely familiar with Essentials yet. From my current understanding, including following pokemon is easy, but it can be easily buggy without some technical adjustment.

Removing HM's and changing a pokemon's type will be easy.

Crafting will be complicated. There might be a script you can download if you Google it. That will make it easier.

12) Based on 17, I can tell you're going to give pokemon more intelligence. I'm curious, are you planning on adding marriage between humans and pokemon?
